  • Skills Translator Tool: Your mentor will provide a skills translator will give you a list where you can find a similar role you can fulfill in the civilian sector. This list is consistently updated and serves every MOS, rate, etc in the military! For example, your experience managing a logistics unit could translate to a supply chain management role in the private sector. Use this tool to convert your military job descriptions, leadership roles, and technical skills into terms civilian recruiters understand. Military.com has a wonderful skills translator that will pull up jobs similar to the field you previously worked in. Use this tool to find active jobs in relation to your career field if you like! Of course, your mentor can assist you with this portion.

  • Job Matching Services: Access our network of recruiters who actively seek candidates with military experience. Our mentors assist you directly to positions where your background is an asset. Looking for a career field change? Don’t worry we can assist with that too.

2. Certification & Training Opportunities

Further your career potential with tailored training options:

  • On-the-Job Training (OJT): Partner with employers offering OJT programs. Earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in fields like advanced manufacturing or renewable energy.

  • Earn While You Learn: Unlike traditional training, OJT programs pay you a salary from day one. For example, a veteran entering an HVAC OJT program can earn up to $20/hour while learning essential skills on the job.
